Thank you to those who asked about Joy's health. We found out that she had an infection, which wasn't helping things at all.

Work on the layout has gone well this week, with house cardboard templates pasted down where the houses will go, and back and side fences printed and pasted in place, hard things to do in N-Scale with my big fingers.

As you can see from the 2nd photo, I pasted wooden toothpicks to the fences, drilled holes in the layout and glued them into the holes. I think the white picket fences look OK, but I painted them green.
